Trice High is a director, writer, and voice actor who is best known for his work on a multitude of sports documentaries and films, such as SILENCED: A Stephen Curry Film, Encore: The Story of the REAL Last Dance and The Book of Kobe Bryant. In 2021, he established the multi-media production company Trice Media, which has accumulated nearly 40 million views online through services such as YouTube, and has seen variations of his work being featured on platforms such as Sports Illustrated, Complex Sports, and PlayersTV.
High completed his undergraduate degree in Sports Management (B.A.) from Clarks Summit University in 2020. At CSU, Trice was a four-year NCAA student-athlete with the men's basketball program, where he led the team in three-point shooting percentage as a sophomore and would go on to shoot over 40% from behind the arc during his time as a "Defender". The same passion for the game of basketball that had motivated High in the gym, is what spilled over into his work off the court. Ranging from player breakdowns to full-length documentaries, Trice's work led to him discovering a love for film-making and the art of storytelling. Today, he produces, writes, narrates and edits a wide-range of basketball and sports related content for a variety of platforms. In 2021, his documentary Farewell: A Kobe Bryant Documentary was an official selection at the 2021 Toronto Lift-off Film Festival and named a semi-finalist in the US Hollywood Int'l Golden Film Awards. In 2024, Trice accepted the position of Director of Athlete Content & Production for the players' owned media company PlayersTV. |
